KALE SEEDS – NON CERT. ORGANIC

Kale is a hardy cabbage of a variety which produces erect stems with large leaves and no compact head. It is harvested the same way as loose leaf lettuce, you just keep removing the bottom leaves.

WHEN TO USE

Kale can be grown throughout the year and does well in your shady spots.

HOW TO USE

Prepare your beds with lots of organic compost and add bone meal for added growing wooma! Easy to grow. Grow in seed trays, and plant out in 4-6 weeks. Sow seed at a depth approximately three times the diameter of the seed. Best planted at soil temperatures between 8°C and 30°C. Space plants: 50 – 100 cm apart

HOW MUCH

One or two seeds per seedling pod or sow direct into bed and cover lightly with loose soil.
